Today, I did a 4 days old newborn session at the Matilda hospital.  More exciting details and photos to be posted soon.

Despite the weather forecast says that there will be a typhoon coming and that there will be occasional showers, it didn’t affect us at all. It was as if the sun was following us whole day! The moment we stepped into the restaurant for lunch, it rained HARD. When we were done with our lunches, the sun is back out again. We had alot of fun today.

This project involved some lifestyle portraits of a family in which these photos were to be used for a company’s marketing material. I will post more after their official release. At this time, I would like to showcase this lovely girl from the session.

I just returned from my vocation today from Spain and was so excited to found out that our interview had just been released today in this latest Next Magazine (issue 953, page 122-123). I had to thank Next Media’s friendly team Cindy the reporter and City the photographer for inviting me to participate in this feature. I also had to sincerely thank my client the Mok family and Wing Yan for happily participating in the interview during our photo session. The kids got all excited and I am sure they found it a fun experience too!

There is so much to share from the shoots I did the past few weeks. Really can’t wait to share with you all. I am working hard on the proofing stage.. SO MANY PHOTOS!  For potential clients, please be noted that I would be on a trip from June 4- 12. I will be heading to Spain and Portugal (yay!). If you wish to book a session, I suggest to make your session booking prior (especially for newborn sessions if parents wish to document this precious fleeting stage) or after June 14. Please note that weekend bookings get fill up quickly, thus, please book at least 2 weeks in advance if you wish to do your session on weekends. If my schedule allows, last minute booking will be arranged for in-home newborns and pregnancy sessions.

There will be a summer promotion coming at end of June! Stay tune.. this promotion is especially for babies from 7 months or older.

I don’t want to post without a photo again…. here’s a photo of one of my favorite clients… I had photographed her a few times already. This one was taken from the newborn session I did with her baby sister awhile ago. A lovely girl and definitely lovely subject!

This is a super funny session.  I had alot of fun with this 6 months old baby boy today.   Can’t wait to share his photos with you soon.

Today, I had an in-home session with this sweet 18 days old newborn girl. Her mom had carefully planned ahead so that she was fed partially before the session, and fully fed during the session. We’ve got an assortment of photos of the newborn while she is awake and asleep and she was super content in both states.

…just like an angel!

For me, newborn portrait is about capturing the detail characteristics of newborns… the skin, the gesture, and the pureness of the baby. I enjoyed capturing newborns as I see it as a truly meaningful documentation of this very early stage in life.

I had an in-home session with these two lovely girls today. They first met each other while bike-riding at Tai Mei Tuk and all of a sudden, they were racing with each other with their bikes. Their friendship ignited like a spark and immediately exchanged contacts and became good friends. I think this is pure fate and I am happy to be able to document their friendship today.

Today, I was invited to an adorable 2 year old baby girl’s birthday party! I met her last year at another baby birthday party. She has grown so much since the last time I saw her. She is now a little young lady!

I can tell there were many lovely details went into the party. It was definitely a fun and enjoyable day for everybody.

Beautiful personalized cookies by Complete Deelite. I got hooked by their blog already. They create so many beautiful cakes.. or should I say.. “artworks”!

The kids had a wonderful time with this professional entertainer. They sung, danced and played games. She made alot of cute balloons for the kids and they even had a pinata!

It was a fun day for every guests! :)

At 27 weeks pregnancy and first time mother, I sensed her excitement from the moment we emailed with each other. It was a joy working with her as I always envisioned pregnancy portraits should have a bit of fashion, pure portraiture, and journalism and she made it possible. There are loads of images that I like from the session as we did many different concepts. I would definitely show more on my website later on, but at this time, here are a few from the session…
